Rz. Anemones Raddeanae Liang Tou Jian 6g Disperses swelling, dispels abdominal lumps and resolves Phlegm.
*Rz. Pinelliae Sheng Ban Xia 6g Usually considered too toxic for internal use. External application: as a powder to inhale for treating coma, fainting, childhood convulsions, swollen, painful obstruction of the throat, eliminating boils and goiter, stopping pain, and treating skin diseases.
Rx. Glehniae Bei Sha Shen 30g Nourishes Stomach Yin and generates fluids.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 15g Invigorates and cools the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and reduces abscesses.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 9g Strongly dries Dampness and tonifies the Spleen.
With Hou Po and Chen Pi, for epigastric fullness, fatigue and discomfort, anorexia, vomiting and/or diarrhea with a turbid, greasy tongue due to Dampness Obstructing the Middle Jiao.
Hb. Dendrobii Shi Hu 9g Nourishes Stomach and Lung Yin, clears Heat and generates fluids.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 15g Promotes the movement of Qi, reduces distention and pressure, resolves hardenings and removes stagnated food.
Sm. Alpiniae Katsumadai Cao Dou Kou 12g Dries Dampness, warms the Middle Jiao, stops vomiting and strengthens the Spleen.
With Hou Po, for Cold-Dampness in the Middle Jiao when Dampness predominates.
Cx. Magnoliae Officinalis Hou Po 6g Promotes the movement of Qi in the Middle Jiao, resolves Stagnation, descends Rebellious Qi, dries Dampness and reduces Phlegm.
Poria Fu Ling 12g Strengthens the Spleen, harmonizes the Middle Jiao, promotes urination and leaches out Dampness.
With Mu Xiang, for diarrhea and borborygmus due to Dampness.
Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang 6g Promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 6g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ke and Mu Xiang, for abdominal distention, fullness and pain.
Concha Arcae Wa Leng Zi 12g Invigorates the Blood, dissolves Phlegm, resolves Stagnation, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, absorbs acid and alleviates pain.
With Hai Piao Xiao, Chen Pi and Gan Cao, for epigastric pain with acid regurgitation.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
